Mr. Clark holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. He furthered his education by earning a Master's degree in School Counseling from the University of Central Arkansas, a Master's degree in Educational Technology from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville, and an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Arkansas.

Mr. Clark spent seven years teaching Science and Geography at Chaffin Junior High before transitioning to serve as one of the school’s counselors for two years. He is now proud to be part of the administrative team as Assistant Principal.

Alongside his wife, April, Mr. Clark stays busy raising their two children. He firmly believes in the potential of every student and that it is the responsibility of educators to understand each student's unique qualities to help them achieve success.

Mrs. Mankins earned her Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Arkansas Tech University and began her career as a choral director at Butterfield Junior High in Van Buren. She later taught in the Alma School District and at Ramsey Junior High in Fort Smith. Passionate about supporting students beyond the classroom, she pursued a Master’s degree in School Counseling and Leadership, transitioning to the role of school counselor at King Elementary in Van Buren and eventually at Chaffin Middle School. During her 11 years as a counselor at Chaffin, she achieved National Board Certification in School Counseling and earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas Tech University.
